No Matter Who You Are Or Where You Are On Life's Journey, You Are Welcome Here!
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Christian Education for all ages is a valued and important part of the program and life of St. Luke’s. Opportunities for life-long learning are offered throughout the year. Sunday School classes are available for all ages.
The children and youth gather together each Sunday for an opening prayer, music, and welcome.
The children love singing, dancing, and playing music!
Following the opening, children go to their classes to learn about their faith through Bible stories, crafts, and fellowship. They have a great time and make lots of friends! The classes are using the Deep Blue Kids curriculum.
We welcome children of all ages to join us at 9:30 am on Sundays.
Light Seeds
The Light Seeds class is taught by Rev. Paul Emily and Crystal Todd.
Faith Sprouts
Dianne Emily teaches the Faith Sprouts Class.
Faith Factory
Leah Jennings and Sharon Franciskato teach the Faith Factory Class.
Faith Odyssey
The Faith Odyssey Class is being taught by Heather Finch. They are using Linc, a curriculum based on current events that helps make the Bible and their faith relevant in today’s world.
Youth Group
The St. Luke's Bunch Youth Group meets every Sunday at 6:00 pm for food, fellowship, devotional time, service, and fun! The Youth Group is sponsored by Jodie Puhr and Pastor Paul.
Dreamers
This class is taught by Paula McKinney. They discuss issues dealing with faith and living a Christian life today. They share lots of laughter and maybe a few tears along the way.
Prophets
The Prophet's Class is taught by Dan O’Neill. They are exploring faith by studying various video presentations and discussion. Good fellowship and laughter is always a part of the class.
Children's Moment
Children’s Moment is a special part of every Sunday morning worship service. The children gather in the front of the sanctuary for a lesson with Pastor Paul. The congregation often learns as much as the children!
Nanette Moore is the Director of Christian Education.
A “Safe Church” policy is followed in all St. Luke’s classes and activities.
