Easter Sunday - April 20, 2025

 

You are invited to the 10:45 am Easter service at St. Luke's United Church of Christ church in Independence, MO. You will be lifted into the Easter story through scripture, message, and holy communion. You will experience traditional hymns, and the jubilant sounds of pipe organ, grand piano, handbells, and violin. You will be filled with the sights, sounds, and alleluias of joyous resurrection.

 

The worship service will last approximately one hour. Wear whatever you'd like. A parking lot is available and the building is accessible. All are welcome!  Plan your visit now!

Easter at St. Luke's United Church of Christ in Independence, MO

At 9:00 am you are invited to an outdoor service (weather permitting) celebrating Jesus' resurrection. The spring sun (hopefully), a circle of friendship, joyful Easter hymns, and a short reflection will start your day off right.  (Chairs are available.)

Following the service (9:30 am), you are invited to come inside and enjoy a delicious Easter breakfast in the Fellowship Hall.  The Youth will prepare and serve a wonderful Easter breakfast.  There will be a freewill offering.

 

A photo booth will be available for your Easter pictures.

At 10:00 am, your children are invited to join Pastor Paul on a "trip to Jerusalem" where they will experience the Easter story. The children will feel the excitement of true Easter joy as they see and hear the story told through the Resurrection Eggs.  Plan your visit now!
